Composition

• 2% Tryptone
• 0.5% Yeast Extract
• 10 mM NaCl
• 2.5 mM KCl
• 10 mM MgCl2
• 10 mM MgSO4
• 20 mM Glucose

Includes for 25 mL:
– 25 mL S.O.C. Medium
– Dry Ice

• Used primarily in the recovery step of E.coli competent cell transformations.

• Tested for sterility and optimal outgrowth of freshly transformed Chemically Competent and Electrocompetent E.coli.

• Shipped in: Dry ice.
• Storage: for up to 24 months at -20 °C, or up to 12 months at 2-8 °C.
