Canvax Biotech has been main sponsor of the 4th Spanish C. Elegans Meeting (SWM 2013) that took place at Carmona, Seville, between 14 – 15 March. During the congress the researchers discussed about development, aging, neurobiology and metabolism.
The conference was focused on the main advances made in Caenorhabditis elegans. C. elegans is a species belonging to the nematode family, that has been an important model for studying for biology, especially development genetics, since the 70s in the last century.
